Police Parking Lanes

As I grew increasingly frustrated with the parking near a neighboring police precinct, I decided to mock what officers were doing.

I like to believe I understand the need for a police station. I’m not sure why they can’t find street parking like the rest of us. I wager there’s little room for a parking lot and it would cost taxpayers like $200 trillion to build one.

At one point, I spoke with an officer who directed me to a “Police Parking Sign” which makes this a behavior protected by law. Please tell me what the correct answer is over email.
