Police Parking Lanes

I was growing increasingly frustrated with a neighboring police precinct, so I decided to mock the way they were parking.

I like to believe I understand the need for a police station. I’m not sure why they can’t find street parking like the rest of us. I wager there’s little room for a parking lot, and it would cost taxpayers like $200 trillion to build one.

At one point, I spoke with an officer who directed me to a “Police Parking Sign” which makes this a behavior protected by law. Please tell me what the correct answer is in a short email.
